Change for Cambodians is a charity aiming to make a real change for the less fortunate people living in Cambodia and Thrive Natural Remedies aims to support this amazing cause.

They undertake a range of critical tasks in Cambodia including:

• Constructing Cambodian styled housing.
• Delivering water through the construction of wells.
• Implementing toilets for schools and villages.
• Provide assistance to multiple remote medical facilities.
• Offer clothing to families and children who are in need.

Change for Cambodians manages the following projects:

It is 25 minutes from central Siem Reap containing 27 families totalling 96 people. The majority of people cannot work due to their disabilities and illness, many people are amputees, landmine victims, and are critically ill. On the first day of every month every family receives a 25kg bag of rice and are given 150, 20 litre containers of drinking water to be shared. Every second month (providing there are funds) a food drop will be delivered, where every family receives fundamental cooking ingredients. This is nothing in comparison to how you or I may live but it is something and everyone is immensely appreciative of it.

Located in Siem Reap it is the centre for trafficked girls, the girls come from unexplainable backgrounds and are housed in private facilities and sent to a private school. Their school fees are paid through Australian sponsorships of $50p/m. All other costs with running Esther House is from donations or gifts. The girls cam stay for as long as they need too, and are returned to their family when, and if, the family situation changes and more importantly if the girls are no longer in harm. For some this will never happen, so they choose to stay at Esther House, sent to school or university and are established in the workforce.

CCH is a home in Phnom Penh for children, there are currently 53 children ranging from 4 to 24 years of age. All children are from outlying villages surrounding Phnom Penh and have endured abuse, mistreatment and worse. All the children are sponsored for $50 a month, Change for Cambodia are the only source of income for these kids and strive to raise money and support them. There are currently nine older children attending university, including one girl who is attending her third year of a medical degree showing amazing persistence despite the challenges she has faced.

Similarly to the Cambodian Community Home, the Community Centre is located outside of Phnom Penh where the project is taken on as funds become available. The project has been running for four years and is hoped to be completed within the next 18 months. The centre is a facility that can be used by the public for a village meeting venue, church service, homeless children feeding program, refuge for vulnerable elderly ladies, toilet and shower facilities and a vocational training centre. A section of the vocational training is a seperate building that is in the process of being modified to become a computer training program centre.

Positioned 30 minutes from Siem Reap and would be considered in the middle of nowhere. Rainbow is strategically placed at the centre of five villages in the Rheul Community and aims to meet the needs of the surrounding village people. The purpose of the Rainbow Orphanage is to provide facilities for the village people, this includes breeding animals and growing fruit and vegetables which gives the village a form of employment and income. Within the Rainbow Orphanage is the "Slaven School for all Children" which was constructed five years ago purely by donations, it is now the primary source of education for over 300 children every day.

EFFM is a primary school on the far reaches of Phnom Penh. It was constructed to provide children who lived and worked in the rubbish dump a better opportunity in life. They are some of the poorest families in the entire county and would never have received an education had it not been for the EFFM facility. The 110 children are picked up in a truck every morning, driven to school, taught, fed and taken home in the afternoon. The entire school is free powered by donations of funds, gifts of school supplies and food for the children.
